Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. The people we trust with that important talk can help us know that we are not alone
Fred Rogers
Depression is the dark, therapy is the light...let the light in!
There is so much to do, the laundry is piling up, the sink is overflowing, everyone is asking you for EVERYTHING, and you can't remember if you brushed your teeth last night or took a shower yesterday. It's so much work to do everyday tasks and you're exhausted.
We all have bad days, or even a couple of sad days in a row. When sadness takes over for two or more weeks you could be depressed.

There is hope! You deserve a big hug for recognizing something doesn't feel right and reaching out for support. Together, we will work on creating a safe place for you to talk about your feelings, even when they feel scary or overwhelming.

Through the years, I've learned that the parts of ourselves that are depressed are very protective in nature. Sometimes they shield from fear of failure, loneliness, or rejection. Together we will work on identifying what is underneath the depression to help you move through life with a greater sense of freedom and confidence.

You are not alone, I can't wait to hear from you!
